Steve Smith is the Group Metallurgy and Testing Manager at Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group's Doncaster plant. With a career spanning over two decades in metallurgy and testing, Steve has held positions at Carrington Wire and Bridon-Bekaert, where he also manages the company's testing laboratory. In 2019, at the age of 38, he joined the Executive Management Committee of the International Wire and Machinery Association (IWMA), contributing his extensive technical expertise to the organisation.
